About us

Dearly Known is a UK-based snail mail club selling monthly letters of faith-filled encouragement. You can reach us at hello@dearlyknown.co.uk. Our registered business address and company details are shown on our order confirmations.

Placing an order

Orders and subscriptions are taken through Shopify checkout. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable; delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

Subscriptions and billing

A monthly subscription renews automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. You may cancel or pause at any time before your next billing date from the link in your order emails or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future payments; letters already paid for will still be sent.

Delivery

Letters are posted from the UK. Delivery timescales and costs are set out on our Help page and at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service, but if your letter does not arrive we will investigate and, where appropriate, resend it.

Your right to cancel

UK consumers have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. Full details, including how this applies to subscriptions, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

Our artwork, writing and photography are ours and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. You may share images of your letters on social media.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
